Biography

Angelise Petrillo, Esq., is a Senior Partner and Co-Chair of the AI Litigation Intelligence Strategies and Solutions™ Practice Area. She handles high-exposure civil litigation, including matters involving automobile negligence, trucking liability, wrongful death, premises liability, negligent security, product liability, professional liability, creditor’s rights, general liability, appeals, and excess monitoring.

Angelise handles complex litigation through verdict, with a focus on liability, causation, damages, expert witness strategy, exposure assessment, and trial risk. She is frequently brought into high-exposure and nationally significant matters as parachute counsel during pivotal stages of litigation, including before mediation, settlement negotiations, trial, and major client reporting decisions. In that role, she provides an independent strategic assessment of the case, pressure-tests liability and causation theories, evaluates damages and expert vulnerabilities, analyzes plaintiff strategy, and helps reposition the defense before critical litigation decisions are made. Her parachute counsel work provides carriers, clients, and trial teams with a clear, objective assessment of litigation risk, settlement leverage, and trial readiness when the case posture matters most.

As Co-Chair of the AI Litigation Intelligence Strategies and Solutions™ Practice Area, Angelise helps lead the firm's use of advanced litigation intelligence to support complex case evaluation and strategic litigation planning.

Angelise also serves on the firm’s Tort Reform Committee and Legislative Action Team, where she analyzes statutory developments and emerging legal trends affecting claims handling, litigation strategy, defense positioning, and risk management.

Angelise earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University (2014) and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law (2017). While attending law school, she served as President of the Tort Law Society, was a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Society, and clerked at Luks & Santaniello.

Angelise is admitted to practice in Florida (2017). She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (2021), the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2022), and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida (2022).
