Description: Coronavirus has accelerated the virtual workforce and has forever changed the compensability of workplace injuries. The panel will consider the employer, workplace injuries, the new work accident and comingled work life and home claims. The session will clarify how to determine whether an at home injury is compensable and review emerging exposures like telemedicine and the effect on valuing the compensability of at home injuries. The session will end with discussion on sharing information and common interests and provide attendees with a road map to navigating WC claims post COVID-19.
