Congratulations to Boston Managing Partner Paul Michienzie and Law Clerk Zoe Balkan for completing the Boston Marathon on April 15th! It was Patriots' Day in Boston and a warm sunny day for the 128th Boston Marathon! This was Paul Michienzie's fourth Boston Marathon! In the spirit of National Volunteer Month, Paul raised over $11K for the Progeria Research Foundation (PRF) and Zoe raised over $9K for Beth Israel Lahey Health.
We are happy to have such inspirational employees that give back to our communities!

On Friday, October 20, Luks & Santaniello hosted a firm-wide breast cancer awareness party, the firm's annual Pink Palooza. All offices spent the day donating to the Susan G. Komen Foundation while wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We are happy to support our Tallahassee Senior Associate Tabitha Jackson, Esq., the Chair of the Administrative Law Section, who organized the event. The ALS collected backpacks and school supplies for middle and high school students that participate in Boys Town programs.

Tallahassee Senior Associate Tabitha Jackson, Esq., participated in the Administrative Law Section Young Lawyers’ Annual Thanksgiving Drive to distribute food into Thanksgiving bags for elementary kids in need. Over 74 bags were filled and donated to Oak Ridge Elementary to children who did not have access to lunches over Thanksgiving break.

After Haiti was recently devastated by two earthquakes that occurred on Saturday, August 14, Fort Lauderdale Senior Associate Angelise Petrillo, Esq., organized a Luks & Santaniello fundraiser to help with the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Employees together raised $800.00 for the Earthquake Relief in Haiti for Hope for Haiti and to help the children through UNICEF.
We thank our attorneys, paralegals and staff who helped contribute to the recovery for the Haitian people.

Luks Santaniello is sponsoring the Table For 8 & Diversity Symposium in support of the Tallahassee Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Section. It will be held on October 8, 2020 via Zoom. The symposium will offer networking sessions between law students, judges and attorneys and provide insight into legal practices and the impact of COVID-19 within the legal industry.

Administrative Law Section (ALS) Food Drive

In collaboration with the ALS, LSPC sponsored a food drive at Harry’s Bar and Grill in November to benefit needy families in the school community. The ALS collected 52 large bags of food. Volunteers held a bagging get together and prepared individual family packages for delivery to students at the Pineview Elementary School in Tallahassee, Florida. ALS members distributed the bags to students at the school.
