Annual Pink Palooza 2024

In Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Luks & Santaniello proudly hosted its annual Pink Palooza on October 25, 2024, bringing together our firmwide community to raise awareness and support for the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the day, attorneys and staff across our Florida, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island offices wore pink, decorated their spaces, and participated in fundraising activities to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation—a leading organization dedicated to breast cancer research, education, and patient support.

Thanks to the collective efforts and generosity of our team, we raised critical funds to help advance lifesaving research and provide resources to those affected by breast cancer. Pink Palooza is one of the many events that reflects our firm's ongoing commitment to community service and making a difference beyond the courtroom.

Congratulations to Boston Managing Partner Paul Michienzie and Law Clerk Zoe Balkan for completing the Boston Marathon on April 15th! It was Patriots' Day in Boston and a warm sunny day for the 128th Boston Marathon! This was Paul Michienzie's fourth Boston Marathon! In the spirit of National Volunteer Month, Paul raised over $11K for the Progeria Research Foundation (PRF) and Zoe raised over $9K for Beth Israel Lahey Health.

We are happy to have such inspirational employees that give back to our communities!

We are happy to support our Tallahassee Senior Associate Tabitha Jackson, Esq., the Chair of the Administrative Law Section, who organized the event. The ALS collected backpacks and school supplies for middle and high school students that participate in Boys Town programs.

Tallahassee Senior Associate Tabitha Jackson, Esq., participated in the Administrative Law Section Young Lawyers’ Annual Thanksgiving Drive to distribute food into Thanksgiving bags for elementary kids in need. Over 74 bags were filled and donated to Oak Ridge Elementary to children who did not have access to lunches over Thanksgiving break.

After Haiti was recently devastated by two earthquakes that occurred on Saturday, August 14, Fort Lauderdale Senior Associate Angelise Petrillo, Esq., organized a Luks & Santaniello fundraiser to help with the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Employees together raised $800.00 for the Earthquake Relief in Haiti for Hope for Haiti and to help the children through UNICEF.

We thank our attorneys, paralegals and staff who helped contribute to the recovery for the Haitian people.
