Biography

Anthony J. Merendino, Esq., is Co-Managing Partner of the firm’s Orlando office with more than 20 years of trial and litigation experience. He is AV® Preeminent™ rated by Martindale-Hubbell. As Co-Managing Partner, Anthony provides strategic guidance on complex litigation matters and supports the professional development of attorneys and staff.

Anthony focuses his practice on the defense of premises liability and negligent security matters, wrongful death claims, motor vehicle and trucking litigation, general liability, product liability, and catastrophic loss cases involving fire and water damage. He represents insurers, self-insured entities, and businesses in the retail, hospitality, transportation, and property management sectors. Anthony also handles subrogation matters and assists clients in evaluating potential recovery from responsible third parties.

Anthony is a member of the firm’s Surgical LOP Abuse team, where he investigates unreasonable billing practices by medical providers and issues related to financial relationships and potential bias.

Anthony earned his Bachelor of arts degree from the University of Central Florida. He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.

Anthony is admitted to practice law in Florida (2001) and to the United States District Court for Southern (2001), Middle (2008) and Northern (2001) Districts of Florida. He is also admitted to the United States Tax Court (2001), the United States Supreme Court (2013) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit (2001).
