Biography
Lourdes Santiago-Carvajal, Esq. is a Junior Partner in the Fort Myers office. Martindale-Hubbell and her peers have rated her AV® Preeminent™. Lourdes is a Certified Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court. She has over 20 years’ experience handling first party property, general liability, PIP and premise liability cases. Lourdes is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to joining the firm, Lourdes worked as General Counsel for a nationwide insurance company handling first party property cases throughout the State of Florida. Lourdes also served as an Adjunct Professor for Florida International University teaching constitutional law, criminal law and various legal courses.
Lourdes earned a Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University, (1991). She obtained a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas Law School, (1994). Following law school, Lourdes received recognition from the Harvard Fellowship Mentor Program.
Lourdes is admitted in Florida (2000).
