Biography
Leonard Wilbert T. Sojor, Esq., (“Wilbert”) is a Senior Associate at the Boca Raton office. He handles complex liability and defense matters across Florida. Wilbert’s practice centers on defending clients in insurance-related disputes, personal injury claims, medical malpractice, nursing home, assisted living facility, skilled nursing facility and liability cases. He contributes to case strategy, pre-trial motions, and client representation in Florida’s state and federal courts. Wilbert represents insurers and corporations in risk management and claims litigation statewide. His training and early career positions built his foundation in managing high-stakes insurance and liability cases.
Before becoming an attorney, Wilbert obtained extensive hospital and nursing home experience as a registered nurse working as a nurse supervisor, cardiac telemetry nurse, medical telemetry nurse, medical surgical nurse and clinical documentation improvement specialist.
Beyond his litigation work, Wilbert engages with the South Florida legal community through professional events and volunteer causes. His social and professional activity reflects an interest in mentorship, wellness, and community support, consistent with the collaborative culture at the firm.
Wilbert received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines (1995). He earned his A.D. in Nursing from Florida State College (2009). Wilbert obtained his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad School of Law (2019).
