Biography

Alejandra C. Bernadet, Esq. is a Junior Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, representing businesses, insurers, property owners, and individuals in a wide range of matters involving premises liability, negligent security, automobile liability, property damage, product liability, and general liability disputes. Alejandra is fluent in Spanish.

With extensive courtroom and trial experience, Alejandra has successfully tried more than twenty cases to verdict and routinely handles all phases of litigation, including investigations, depositions, motion practice, mediations, hearings, and trial. Her background as a former prosecutor provides her with a strategic and practical approach to litigation, allowing her to effectively evaluate claims, develop defense strategies, and advocate for her clients both inside and outside the courtroom.

Prior to entering private practice, Alejandra served as an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted serious felony offenses and gained significant trial experience. During her tenure, she was selected to serve as a County Training Attorney, mentoring and training newer prosecutors.

Alejandra received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida International University, graduating cum laude (2011). She obtained a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, graduating cum laude (2016). While in law school, Alejandra was a member of the Moot Court team and competed in national moot court competitions. Alejandra’s team received the Best Brief Award at the 2016 Gibbons Competition for Moot Court. She also worked as an intern for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.

Alejandra is admitted in Florida (2016). She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (2022).
