Biography
Edgardo Ferreyra, Esq., is a member of the firm's Appellate and Trial Support Division. He represents clients in high-stakes appeals, trial support matters, and complex civil litigation, with a focus on product liability, automotive liability, premises liability, commercial disputes, insurance coverage, toxic torts, and asbestos litigation. As a member of the firm’s Appellate and Trial Support Division, he helps clients develop litigation strategy, preserve error, challenge unsupported claims, and position cases for successful resolution at both the trial and appellate levels.
Martindale-Hubbell and his peers have also rated him AV® Preeminent™. Edgardo has also been recognized as one of the Top Lawyers in South Florida by the South Florida Legal Guide. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of Florida, Florida’s District Courts of Appeal, circuit courts sitting in their appellate capacity, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
His experience includes representing major automobile manufacturers, product manufacturers, insurers, corporate defendants, and commercial entities in complex matters involving automotive and transportation claims, product liability, medical products, negligence, personal injury, premises liability, bad faith, commercial contracts, replevin, environmental contamination, and toxic tort litigation.
Edgardo brings a distinctive perspective to automotive and product liability matters through his personal involvement in motorsports and performance vehicles. His practical interest in vehicle dynamics, engineering, modification, and performance driving strengthens his ability to understand technical issues, work effectively with experts, and translate complex facts into persuasive legal arguments for courts, insurers, and corporate clients.
Edgardo received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Behavioral Psychology from Florida International University (2000). He obtained a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University (2003).
Edgardo is admitted in Florida (2003). He also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida (2003) and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the 11th Judicial Circuit (2003).
