Biography
Courtnee C. Reid, Esq., is a Junior Partner in the Tampa office. She concentrates her practice on automobile negligence, general liability and premises liability matters. Courtnee also handles workers’ compensation, first party property and trucking cases. She is fluent in Patois.
Prior to joining the firm, Courtnee represented employers, carriers and servicing agents in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense, including claims arising out of slip and fall and other premises-related injuries. She also represented indigent clients in underserved communities in the areas of family and civil law. Additionally, Courtnee defended first party property claims for national clients. Most recently, Courtnee handled defense of automobile negligence, trucking negligence, general liability and premises liability matters.
Courtnee received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Miami (2010), with minors in English and Sociology. She earned a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School (2013). While at Vanderbilt, Courtnee served as a research assistant, Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and participated in Moot Court.
Courtnee is admitted in Florida (2014) and the District of Columbia (2018).
