Biography
Rhett S. Perret, Esq., is a Senior Associate in the Jacksonville office. He focuses his practice primarily on construction litigation, with additional experience in commercial litigation and homeowners’ and condominium association disputes. Rhett's practice centers on representing clients in complex construction defect and construction-related disputes, and he is particularly passionate about the construction industry and the unique legal and technical issues these matters present. Rhett is dedicated to providing strategic, results-oriented representation to his clients. He is particularly driven by the complex and evolving nature of construction litigation and takes pride in helping clients navigate sophisticated disputes with practical, business-minded solutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Rhett practiced at a boutique construction defect and real estate litigation firm, where he developed substantial experience handling construction defect litigation, real property disputes, and matters involving homeowners’ and condominium associations. He has represented contractors, developers, property owners, and community associations in a broad range of contentious matters arising from construction and development projects.
Rhett received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida, graduating summa cum laude in 2018. Following his undergraduate studies, Rhett earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law graduating cum laude in 2022. While in law school, Rhett served as a General Editor for the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and was named to the Dean’s List for multiple semesters. His academic achievements reflect a strong commitment to analytical rigor, legal writing, and effective advocacy.
