Biography
Margalie Fenelus Reyes, Esq., is a Junior Partner in the Orlando Office. She focuses her practice on general liability, automobile negligence and premises liability cases. Margalie also handles insurance coverage matters. She is fluent in Haitian Creole and speaks conversational French.
Prior to joining the firm, Margalie worked as in-house counsel for 2 national insurance companies. She spent many years working as an Assistant Public Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit in Orange County, Florida. Margalie was previously a board member of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association.
Margalie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Florida International University, graduating cum laude (2007). She obtained a Juris Doctor from Barry University, graduating in the top 20% of her class (2011). While in law school, she was a national competitor (and champion) on her school's Trial Team and was Trial Team president during her senior year. Margalie has previously interned for Senior District Federal Judge John Antoon II.
