Biography

Brett M. Nordmeyer, Esq., is an Associate in the Miami office. He focuses his practice on general liability litigation, with particular emphasis on negligent security and premises liability matters. Brett represents national clients across a broad spectrum of cases, including slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents and wrongful death actions, as well as handling insurance coverage disputes and first-party property defense.

Brett's experience extends across liability defense, including workers' compensation immunity law, tort actions grounded in negligence, and construction defect litigation. He approaches each matter with a command of both the strategic and procedural sides of litigation, drafting complex pleadings and dispositive motions, providing clear and client-oriented case reporting, and managing cases through every stage of litigation toward efficient, favorable resolution.

Prior to joining the firm, Brett was an associate handling first-party property defense litigation, where he managed all aspects of coverage disputes and policy-related claims. He previously clerked for a general liability firm in Denver, assisting with complex state and federal litigation involving personal injury and premises liability issues.

Brett received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami (2021). He obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School (2024). While in law school, Brett was a member of the Moot Court team.

Brett is admitted in Florida (2024).
