Biography
Lindsay C. Fryer, Esq., is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Pensacola office. She focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, including general liability, retail and premises liability, automobile negligence, employment law, government liability, and workers’ compensation matters. Lindsay has extensive courtroom experience, having handled more than 30 trials and administrative hearings and second-chaired numerous additional trials and evidentiary proceedings.
Lindsay began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for Florida’s First Judicial Circuit, where she handled a wide range of criminal prosecutions, including special prosecution matters, in both Circuit and County Court. She was later promoted to Misdemeanor Attorney Supervisor where she lead a team of attorneys and oversaw the management of all county court cases in Escambia County.
Lindsay later served as a Senior Attorney in the Employment Litigation and Human Resources Unit of the Florida Department of Corrections’ Office of General Counsel. In that role, she represented the agency in employment-related disputes and advised on a wide range of labor, personnel, and human resources matters.
In addition to her litigation practice, Lindsay is actively involved in higher education and legal instruction. She serves as an Adjunct Professor for multiple colleges and universities, teaching courses including Legal Advocacy, Contracts and Business Entities, Criminal Law and Procedure, Constitutional Law, Legal Environment of Business, and Real Estate Law. She also serves on the University of West Florida Legal Advisory Board and previously coached mock trial teams.
Prior to law school, Lindsay gained practical experience in healthcare billing and consulting, expert witness recruiting, and trial consulting, providing her with a unique perspective on litigation strategy, case evaluation, expert witness selection, and trial preparation.
Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of West Florida, graduating cum laude (2009), where she majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Legal Studies and Forensic Studies. She obtained a Juris Doctor from Mississippi College, School of Law (2014). While in law school, Lindsay was the Vice President of the Women’s Student Bar Association and a member of the Advocacy Society.
Lindsay is admitted in Florida (2016). She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida (2022). Lindsay is a member of the Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association and has written two publications.
