Biography
Marina G. Gonzalez, Esq., is a Junior Partner at the Orlando office. She focuses her practice on general liability, premises liability, product liability, negligent security and automobile negligence cases. Marina also handles government liability, trucking, first party property and uninsured/underinsured motorist matters. She is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to joining the firm, Marina worked at both regional and national insurance defense firms, where she represented Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, school districts, transportation companies, hotels and resorts, and major retailers. She also served as in-house counsel for a large national insurance carrier handling their Defense of Base Act litigation. Marina’s litigation experience spans from pre-suit investigations to trial preparation on a wide variety of matters with a particular focus on general liability, gig economy, and third-party insurance defense.
Marina earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Florida State University, graduating cum laude (2013). She obtained a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law (2017). During law school, Marina served in the Moot Court Board, competing in various competitions where she earned Top Oral Advocate during an oral argument in front of the Third District Court of Appeals. Additionally, she was a Comments Editor at the St. Thomas Law Review.
Marina is admitted in Florida (2017). She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (2023).
