Biography
Daniel E. Zakhary, Esq., M.S., is an Associate in the Tampa office. He focuses his practice on civil litigation and insurance defense, representing individuals, businesses, and insurance carriers in motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, and other complex civil litigation matters throughout the state of Florida. Daniel’s experience includes handling cases from initial case evaluation and pleadings to motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation. He is fluent in Arabic, and can read and write in Coptic.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel practiced at one of the nation's largest civil defense firms, where he developed a strategic and practical approach to defending clients in complex civil litigation. He also gained experience in government, criminal, regulatory, and sports law through positions with NASCAR, the Office of the Public Defender for Florida's Seventh Judicial Circuit, and as a research assistant to the Dean of the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from the University of South Florida, where he double majored in Political Science and Psychology (2020). He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law (2023), where he served as Chair of Education for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and held leadership positions in several student organizations. While pursuing his legal education, Daniel concurrently earned a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance, graduating magna cum laude, (2023), further strengthening his understanding of the intersection of law, business, and athletics.
