Biography
Hayley Newman, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the Boca Raton office handling construction defect (CD) and general liability matters. She is a Construction Law Board Certified Expert by The Florida Bar. As a member of the CD team, she handles complex construction defect, construction-related injury and real property matters. Hayley also handles CD coverage claims. She works with Board Certified Construction Law Partner Christopher H. Burrows, Esq. in the defense of complex CD claims involving multiple defendants, including developers, design professionals, general contractors and sub-contractors.
While in law school, Hayley served on the executive board of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Society for two years, gaining early exposure to real property law. Hayley is a certified continuing education instructor with the CEU institute. She has presented a construction case law update at the Florida Liability Claims Conference for the FDLA. Hayley has also presented on worker's compensation immunity, on construction law updates and done multiple 5-hour law and ethics update for claims professionals. She is a member of the Construction Law Committee and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.
Hayley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University (cum laude). Hayley is admitted in Florida (2016). She is admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida (2017). Hayley is admitted to United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit (2021).
