Biography
Dustan Lorimer, Esq. is a Junior Partner in the Fort Myers office. His practice concentrates on construction defect, first-party property, bodily injury, slip and fall, toxic tort, and general liability matters. As a member of the CD team, Dustan handles both complex construction defect and real property matters. He has drafted and argued several Motions to Dismiss based on lack of standing in first party property matters that were granted. Additionally, Dustan prepared motions for summary judgment that were granted based on the impermissible stacking of inferences in a slip and fall case.
While in law school, Dustan was the Senior Editor of the Ave Maria Law Review. He authored an article on The State of Attorney Fees After Hughes v. McCarthy that was published by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Journal, Volume 13, Number 2, Fall 2017.
Dustan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University with honors (2013). He obtained his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law, cum laude (2017). He is admitted in Florida (2017).
