Biography

Lisa M. Taylor, Esq., is a Junior Partner in the Orlando office and a member of the firm’s First Party Property team. She focuses her practice on insurance litigation, with extensive experience handling and litigating a broad range of disputes involving insurance law and first party property matters.

Drawing on significant real-world experience, Lisa brings a practical and strategic approach to insurance litigation. In addition to her insurance defense practice, she has handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters, involving bodily injuries and negligence claims, as well as probate, guardianship, and trust litigation.

Lisa is committed to delivering thorough, effective, and efficient representation for her clients at every stage of litigation. Her attention to detail, strong advocacy skills, and dedication to client service enable her to provide practical solutions and compelling defenses tailored to each case.

Before attending law school, Lisa served as a Judicial Case Manager for the Fulton County Superior Court, the largest general jurisdiction trial court in the State of Georgia. She spent nearly a decade with the court before relocating to Florida to pursue her legal education.

Lisa served in the United States Navy serving in the Gulf War. She is also a proud active-duty veteran of the United States Navy (Electrician).

Following her time in the United States Navy, Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia State University (2006). She thereafter obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University, College of Law (2014).
