Biography
John M. Bringardner, Esq., is a veteran trial attorney with more than 40 years of litigation experience and over 40 Florida civil jury trials. Throughout his career, he has represented businesses, insurers, healthcare providers, and professionals in complex, high-exposure litigation, earning a reputation for developing practical case strategies and persuasive courtroom presentations.
John's practice focuses on defending catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, premises liability, negligent security, trucking and automobile accidents. He also handles professional liability, insurance coverage disputes, and other complex civil litigation. He has successfully tried cases throughout the entire state of Florida and has extensive experience handling matters from initial investigation through verdict and appeal.
A significant portion of John's career has been devoted to defending physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare providers. His experience includes professional malpractice, long-term care litigation, emergency medicine, infectious disease issues, and healthcare regulatory matters. John also serves as a valuable resource in investigations involving medical billing practices, surgical liens, letters of protection, healthcare fraud, and life care planning issues.
John is a member of the Surgical LOP Abuse, SIU Fraud Special Investigation, TBI Strategies, and Trial Teams.
Before entering private practice, John served as in-house counsel for a nonprofit organization, where he managed all litigation handled by outside counsel and directed a team of attorneys responsible for employment, risk management, and civil litigation matters. He later managed a litigation team at a national law firm concentrating on medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, insurance coverage, employment, and civil rights cases.
In addition to his courtroom practice, John has presented at numerous industry conferences on medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, trial strategy, and healthcare liability issues. His practical trial experience and deep understanding of healthcare litigation make him a frequent resource for clients facing complex, high-stakes disputes.
John earned A Bachelor of Science in Political Science and English from the University of Central Florida. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law.
