Biography
Sean J. Fisher, Esq., is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Pensacola office. He has more than a decade of litigation experience, including over 15 jury trials and 500 bench trials. Sean's practice is focused primarily on insurance defense, with extensive experience handling premises liability, negligent security, sexual misconduct, first-party property, and general liability matters. He has defended claims involving slip and falls, trip and falls, falling objects, shopping carts, foreign substances, defective premises conditions, retail incidents, inadequate security, and negligent hiring.
Sean also regularly handles cases involving surgical and catastrophic injuries arising from automobile accidents, boating accidents, and trucking accidents. His practice includes the handling of time-limit demands, policy-limit demands, and tender matters. In addition, he represents homeowners associations and condominium associations in matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and dangerous conditions.
Sean’s experience further includes professional liability matters involving attorneys, real estate brokers and salespersons, insurance professionals, and financial representatives. He also handles matters involving employment practices liability, directors and officers liability, and governmental liability. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he advised companies regarding compliance issues, including matters related to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
Before joining the firm, Sean worked for a multi-state creditors’ rights firm, where he handled matters under the Florida and federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts and the Florida Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act. He also previously worked for an insurance defense firm focusing on construction defect and product liability matters.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware, 2007. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, 2011. Sean is admitted in Florida (2012). He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida (2013). Sean is also admitted in New Jersey (2011). He is admitted in Kentucky (2020).
