Biography
Allison B. Ziegler, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the firm’s Jacksonville office. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, including premises liability, negligent security, products liability, automobile and trucking negligence, wrongful death, roadway construction, and general liability matters. She represents a broad range of clients, including retailers, manufacturers, transportation companies, construction entities, insurers, and public agencies in high-exposure litigation and risk management matters.
Before entering private practice, Allison served nine years on active duty in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG). During her military career, she litigated courts-martial and administrative proceedings as both defense counsel and prosecutor, advised commanders on military justice and personnel matters, and counseled service members on a variety of legal issues while stationed overseas. She also supervised multinational personnel, interpreted foreign law, oversaw the Navy’s Naturalization Program, and developed policy for Navy Judge Advocates worldwide. Her assignments included San Diego, Spain, Japan, and Washington, D.C. Allison continued her service as a member of the U.S. Navy Reserve for another four years after leaving active duty.
Allison received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati (2005). She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law (2010). During law school, Allison received the Legal Writing and Research Book Award, Pro Bono Honors, Dean’s List and Dean’s Scholar awards, and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board.
Allison is admitted to practice is Florida (2010). She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2020).
