Biography
Christopher H. Burrows, B.C.S., is the Co-Managing Partner of the firm’s Boca Raton office and Co-Chair of its Construction Defect Litigation Group. He is a Board Certified Construction Law Expert by the Florida Bar. His practice focuses on construction defect and real property law matters. Christopher defends complex CD claims involving multiple defendants (window, framing, stucco trade, roofing, HVAC, painting, waterproofing) and many different liability issues brought by or against owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, suppliers, manufacturers and architects and engineers. Many of his cases are deemed by the courts as complex litigation and handled procedurally in specialized complex litigation courts within the Florida circuits.
Christopher’s practice includes commercial civil litigation, general liability, product liability and premises liability matters. Christopher also has experience handling personal injury, residential real estate and business sales and condominium law matters.
Christopher received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida graduating with honors (1996). He obtained his Juris Doctor from Stetson University (2001). Christopher is admitted in Florida (2002). He is also admitted to the Southern (2010), Middle (2004) and Northern (2010) Districts of Florida, including the United States District Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit (2006).
