Biography

Daniel P. Madden, Esq., is a Junior Partner in the Tampa office with over 20 years of litigation experience.  He has significant trial experience to jury verdict. Dan’s practice primarily focuses on defending the interests of insurance companies, their insureds, and various clients in the areas of premises liability, automobile liability, commercial trucking, general liability, construction defect, and pre-suit accident investigation. He also has experience handling negligent security cases involving assault and batteries as well as sexual assaults. Dan is committed to providing employers, insurance carriers, and their insureds a comprehensive, aggressive, and efficient defense in each matter.

Prior to joining the firm, Dan was the manager the Fort Lauderdale office of a multi-office firm.  Here he gained significant experience in the practice of Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), general liability, premises liability, as well as automobile and trucking cases. Dan has spoken across the State in the workers' compensation and personal injury arenas, on a variety of legal topics including post-verdict set-off issues, reasonableness of charges including disputing initial charges by medical providers, as well as providing statutory and caselaw updates.  His experience includes all aspects of case management, including trial. Dan’s prior experience also provided him with a keen understanding of how plaintiffs and their attorneys navigate cases. 

Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Florida, cum laude (2000). He obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of Florida Levin College of Law, cum laude (2003). Dan is admitted in Florida (2003) and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2009).
