Biography
Julian Brathwaite-Pierre, Esq., is a senior associate in the Tampa office. He is a member of the first party property, product liability and general liability practice groups. Julian also has handles premises liability, negligent security, creditor’s rights and motor vehicle accident cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Julian represented various national creditors in various creditor’s rights litigation. Subsequently, he was an Assistant Public Defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit, in and for Hillsborough County, Florida. As an Assistant Public Defender, Julian gained valuable litigation experience including doing numerous jury trials. Julian also worked for one of Florida’s largest insurance defense firms, as well as a national civil defense firm, where he represented insurance carriers against a wide variety of third-party liability, and first-party claims, as well as providing coverage analysis to carriers.
Julian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida ((2007). He obtained his juris doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law (2012). While in law school, Julian was a member of the Student Body Legislation Committee, as well as participated in the Immigration Rights Clinic. Julian is admitted in Florida (2012). He is also admitted in the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida (2021).
Julian works with the Judge Simms High School Mock Trial program and previously worked with the R. Fred Lewis High School Mock Trial Competition each year, in order to help foster the desires of high school students in the Hillsborough County area interested in pursuing a career in law.
