Biography
Jack T. Frost, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the Boca Raton office. He is the chair of the Insurance Coverage and co-chair of the COVID-19 practice groups. Jack is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law with more than 40 years of experience representing insurers and insureds in all aspects of civil litigation. Jack focuses his practice defending individuals and businesses involving wrongful death and serious bodily injury including brain injury, spinal cord injury, burns, and catastrophic orthopedic injuries resulting from defective products, automobile and trucking accidents, negligent security, liquor liability, sexual misconduct liability and premises liability. He also handles professional liability, errors and omissions, governmental liability, construction liability and covid-19 litigation. Jack has experience with significant third-party insurance coverage disputes including cases that interpreted an insurance company’s duty to defend and indemnify, breach of policy conditions, claims involving bad faith and unfair and deceptive trade practices, as well as coverage obligations for general liability, commercial trucking, personal auto policies including uninsured motorist coverage, and construction defects.
Jack earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University (1976). He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law (1979). Jack is admitted in Florida (1979). He also is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern (1979), Middle (2000) and Northern (2006) Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit (1979).
