Biography

Johnny White, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the Jacksonville and Orlando offices, bringing more than 20 years of sophisticated litigation and risk management experience to clients across Florida. Recognized for his strategic approach to complex disputes, Johnny has earned the prestigious AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards as rated by peers and members of the judiciary. He is also trained as a Florida Circuit Court Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator.
Johnny is highly regarded for resolving high-exposure, multi-million-dollar disputes efficiently and effectively. His practice emphasizes proactive risk assessment, strategic litigation management, and creative dispute resolution designed to achieve favorable outcomes while minimizing the need for costly and prolonged litigation. He routinely advises clients through all stages of conflict resolution, including pre-suit counseling, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining the firm, Johnny established and led the Jacksonville office of a multi-office Florida insurance defense firm. As managing attorney, he represented a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations, insurance carriers, trucking and transportation companies, contractors, manufacturers, hospitality groups, healthcare providers, municipalities, and professional service organizations. His extensive experience counseling CEOs, company presidents, principals, and General Counsel has made him a trusted advisor on litigation strategy, operational risk, and business exposure analysis.

Johnny has served as lead counsel in complex litigation involving breach of contract claims, liquidated damages, indemnity disputes, environmental matters, confidentiality and non-disparagement agreements, and defamation claims. His insurance defense practice includes the successful defense of personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, construction defect, and catastrophic loss claims.

A significant portion of Johnny’s practice focuses on commercial trucking and transportation litigation, where he has defended high-value, high-exposure claims arising from catastrophic accidents, wrongful death actions, and personal injury and substantial property damage alleged incidents. He also has extensive experience coordinating and negotiating complex multi-party claims involving UM/UIM disputes and catastrophic bodily injury matters.

In addition to litigation, Johnny is highly experienced in risk management and pre-litigation counseling. He works closely with clients to identify operational vulnerabilities, evaluate potential exposure, and implement practical strategies to reduce the likelihood and severity of disputes. His proactive guidance includes advising on electronic data preservation, witness statement protocols, regulatory compliance, and incident response procedures designed to strengthen litigation defense posture.

Johnny’s hands-on approach extends beyond the courtroom. He has conducted on-site evaluations for retail and commercial clients, providing recommendations regarding premises safety, lighting, floor layouts, and operational practices to reduce liability exposure. He is also frequently consulted to interpret regulatory statutes and assist insurance companies, municipalities, and businesses with compliance and risk mitigation initiatives.

Johnny earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University (1998). He obtained a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law (2003).

Johnny is admitted in Florida (2004). He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
