Biography

Andres Baltodano, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office. A native of Costa Rica, Andres is fluent in both English and Spanish and regularly represents clients in matters involving bilingual witnesses and international backgrounds.

Andres focuses his practice on wrongful death and high-exposure liability claims. He represents individuals, commercial truck drivers, property owners, fleet operators, business owners, and corporations in matters involving catastrophic injuries, including automobile negligence, trucking accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and general liability litigation.

Andres routinely handles high-stakes claims and works closely with clients to develop early litigation strategies designed to control exposure and position cases for favorable resolution and trial. His practice frequently involves coordinating with experts including accident reconstruction experts, biomechanical engineers, biomedical engineers and medical specialists to evaluate each claim.

Andres litigates professional liability matters and complex catastrophic loss claims involving propane and natural gas explosions. In addition, he regularly handles matters involving Special Investigation Unit (SIU) investigations, suspected fraud, and complex liability investigations. He has also defended claims involving allegations of employee misconduct, roadway construction incidents, and commercial transportation operations. Andres' diverse litigation background allows him to effectively manage complex cases from initial investigation through trial.

Andres earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University (2009), where he majored in both Political Science and International Affairs.  He obtained a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law (2012). 

Andres is admitted in Florida (2013).  He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern (2016), Middle (2016) and Southern (2016) Districts of Florida.
