Biography
Chelsea Strayhorn, Esq. is an Associate in Fort Lauderdale. She is a member of the first party property team. Prior to joining our team Chelsea worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami Dade County defending indigent clients against criminal convictions, litigating misdemeanor, juvenile, and felonies cases. Chelsea has handled cases through all stages of litigation through trial. She also has experience handling personal injury protection benefits matters.
While in law school, Chelsea was a member of Nova Trial Team Association, and the Vice President of the Black Law Student Association. She also participated in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. Chelsea also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Thomas Lynch in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County, Florida.
Chelsea received her Bachelor of Science from Florida A&M University (2010). She obtained her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law (2016). Chelsea is admitted in Florida (2017).
