Biography

Nora R. Bailey, Esq., is a Senior Partner in the Stuart office. She focuses her practice on premises liability, wrongful death, sexual assaults, trucking and automobile accident cases. Nora also handles first party property, nursing home, alternative living facility, professional liability and complex medical malpractice matters. She has both trial and arbitration experience.

Prior to joining the firm, Nora represented hospitals and medical providers in complex medical malpractice litigation. She has frequently presented on various defense-related topics to hospital staff, administration, and healthcare providers.

Nora earned a Bachelor of Arts from Stetson University graduating with honors (2014). She obtained a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, cum laude (2017). While at Florida State, Nora honed her oral advocacy skills as a member of the FSU Law Moot Court team, where she presented oral argument to the Florida Supreme Court and was selected as the Best Advocate. Additionally, her paper, Ivory Towers: A Dangerous Facade (A Survey of Federal Laws Regarding Campus Sexual Assaults and Recommendations for Further Protections for Survivors), was published in the Widener Journal of Law, Economics, and Race. As an alumna, Nora serves on the law school’s Career Advisory Board, is a volunteer interviewer for the admissions office, and coaches students on the Moot Court team. Nora is also an active member of MothersEsquire, a nationwide non-profit group working towards gender equity in the legal profession, serving on the group’s Membership Committee.

Nora is admitted in Florida (2017). She is also admitted in the United States District Court for the Northern (2019) and Southern (2018) Districts of Florida.
