The lawsuit arose out of a slip and fall down a stairway at an Orlando night club. The 17 year-old Plaintiff was transported from the scene by ambulance and was in the ICU for three days. The Plaintiff underwent two neurosurgeries, a Diagnostic Cerebral Angiogram and a Cerebral Angiography & Embolization. Her medical bills totaled over $350,000.00. During her deposition, Mr. Rodriguez-Sierra was able to have the Plaintiff testify as to what she alleged caused her to fall down the stairs. The Plaintiff testified that she slipped on liquid on the first step as she went to descend the staircase. Follow up questions resulted in the Plaintiff not being able to identify any evidence that the Defendant had actual nor constructive notice of the liquid on the floor.
