Biography

Lisa M. Taylor, Esq. is a Junior Partner in the Orlando, Florida office in its First Party Property team. With extensive experience handling and litigating a variety of disputes involving insurance law, Lisa specializes in First Party property matters. Lisa has “real world” experience that is evident in her understanding and practice in First Party litigation. In addition to First Party property matters, Lisa has a wide net of civil litigation experience including prior Plaintiff personal injury/negligence, and Probate, Trust and Guardianship litigation. Lisa is dedicated to providing a proactive and compelling defense for her clients at every stage, while maintaining efficiency in her practice.

Prior to attending law school, Lisa worked as a Judicial Case Manager in Fulton County Superior Court, the largest general jurisdiction court in the State of Georgia. Lisa spent nearly a decade with Fulton County Superior Court before moving to Florida to attend law school. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa worked in general civil litigation, probate, trust, guardianship, and insurance defense.

Prior to going to Georgia State University, Lisa served in the United States Navy serving in the Gulf War. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia State University. She thereafter obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M Univeristy, College of Law. Lisa is admitted in Florida (2014).
