Biography
Mikaela Ziko, Esq., is a Senior Associate in the Pensacola office. She focuses her practice on general liability, premises liability and automobile negligence litigation. Mikaela is fluent in Albanian.
Mikaela began her career as an Assistant State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit where she served as a Recruiting Coordinator, a special prosecutor in the Economic Crimes division, as well as a line attorney in both Circuit Court and County Court. Mikaela previously taught Legal Advocacy at the University of West Florida as an adjunct professor and served as a mock trial coach.
Mikaela earned a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University, graduating summa cum laude (2014). She obtained a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law (2018), graduating second in her class.
Mikaela is admitted to practice in Florida (2019) and New York (2022). She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northen District of Florida (2023).
